Mifos Payment Hub-EE (PH-EE)

Our other Digital Public Goods, Mifos & Fineract, have been adopted by the government of Mexico. They are currently exploring usage of PH-EE for P2G payment flows for collection of tax revenue. Our team designed and implemented the Payment Building Block specification for the GovStack Initiative led by DIAL, ITU and GTZ. PH-EE has been implemented in their sandbox environment as the reference implementation for the Pay-BB specification. We are aligning this work with GovStack to comply with the G2P Connect interoperability specification. We are in the process of conducting an Interledger Foundation research grant to explore the intersection between ILP and DPI PH-EE has been deployed in a number of different lab environments to act as the integration layer for last-mile DFSPs to participate in inclusive instant payment systems like Mojaloop. It’s being explored for numerous POCs that are underway. We are collaborating with OpenG2P and OpenSPP to integrate PH-EE as the payment layer for their end to end beneficiary management system. PH-EE is being deployed as part of pilot implementation of OpenG2P for Ministry of Education in Sierra Leone to to digitize payments to teachers. We are in conversation with a number of different countries regarding shared infrastructure to modernize systems for MFIs and SACCOs, including PH-EE as the system to enable participation of last-mile institutions in IIP.
